Trading aur Investing dono ka maqsad paisa banana hai, lekin approach, time horizon, aur risk mein zameen-aasmaan ka farak hai.
Yeh fundamental difference samajh lena chahiye:
· Investing (Long Game): tum company ka partner bante ho. 5-10-20 saal ke liye. Sochte ho "5 saal baad yeh company kahan hogi?".
· Trading (Short Game): tum product ka khiladi ho. Minutes se le kar kuch hafte. Sochte ho "kal ya agle hafte iski price kahan jayegi?".
1. ⏳ Time Horizon
· Investor: Saalo ya decades. "Time in market" pe focus.
· Trader: Seconds se le kar kuch mahine. "Timing the market" pe focus.
2. 📈 Returns ka Source
· Investor: Business ki growth se paisa. Sales badhi, profit badha, dividend mila → stock up.
· Trader: Price fluctuations se paisa. Logon ki feelings (fear/greed) se fayda uthana.
3. 😰 Risk aur Stress
· Investor: Drawdowns dekhta hai par soota rehta hai. Crash aata hai toh kharidta hai.
· Trader: Har din active rehta hai. Stop-loss lagata hai, charts dekhta hai. Zyada active, zyada tax.
4. 🧠 Mindset
· Investor: Fundamentals. "Kya kharidu?".
· Trader: Technicals, momentum, volume. "Kab kharidu/kab bechu?".
🤔 Kaun banega dono mein se?
· Agar tum 9-5 job karte ho aur passive rehna chahte ho → Investor bano. Index funds ya largecaps.
· Agar tum risk le sakte ho, time hai, active rehna pasand hai → Trader bano. (Achha trader banana mushkil hai; pehle paper trading karo.)
Dono kar sakte ho?
Haan. Professional log karte hain:
· 80% portfolio: Long-term investing (SIP, bluechip).
· 20% portfolio: Active trading (intraday/swing) for extra returns.
Kya tumhara interest long-term wealth building hai ya short-term action? Us hisaab se choose karo.
